Throughout the walk-through, NewHome carefully describes what is covered in the Builder's Warranty, what is the homeowners' responsibility, and how to get manufacturers' assistance with appliances and other items that are covered by companies other than the builder. Homeowners receive a user-friendly warranty manual that reiterates everything that NewHome has discussed with the homeowner. For additional convenience, NewHome conducts additional inspections at the 60th day and 11th month of homeownership and provides 24-hour emergency service.

Starting at the pre-close walk-through, NewHome walks homeowners through the home and shows them each feature, what it is for, and how to properly use it. Should a claim be necessary, NewHome will document the homeowner's claims, dispatch the appropriate subcontractors, and see the claims through to the satisfaction of the homeowner. The occurrences are reported to Watson Custom Home Builders along with a report of the subcontractors' performance and feedback from the homeowner.

Watson Custom Home Builders' $350,000 termite bond service with Naders Pest Raiders is a 10-year renewable bond that takes effect from the final trench and treat date. Nader's Pest Raiders uses the Bora Care/Termidor treatment system to provide 360° of protection to your home. First, they apply more environmentally friendly Bora Care to the first 36" of the entire structure. Second, a tubing system is installed throughout the home that allows treatment for general household pests. Finally, after the home is completed, a small trench is dug around the entire house and treated with Termidor for extra protection. Our termite bond provides you with a longer, more comprehensive warranty to give you the peace of mind that your home is well protected from termites and other potential damage from insects.
